Parenting in Context

Cornell University and the College of Human Ecology is hosting “Parenting in Context: How Parenting Changes over the Life Course” on Wednesday at the Multnonmah Athletic Club.

The event features two speakers: Rachel Dunifon, associate dean of the College of Human Ecology, and Alan Mathois, the Rebecca Q. and James C. Morgan Dean of the College of Human Ecology.

Dunifon will discuss the latest parenting research taking place at the college, focusing on the changes over a life course. She will explore the content in which a parent’s live influences their parenting behavior.

The event starts at 6:30 with registration. The program runs from 7 to 8 p.m., followed by a reception. Cathedral Ridge Winery will be on hand pouring two wines. The winery is also a sponsor of the lecture.

Tickets are $20; $15 for young alumni (classes of 2007 to 2016).
