A toasted vanilla and lilac nose accompany this medium-bodied, fruit centric palate with beautiful undertones of dark plum and cassis. Notable tannins round out the dried apricot finish. Cabernet Franc is a wonderfully versatile pairing wine that holds up nicely to tomato based dishes like pasta and pizza while easily balancing difficult herbal flavors like oregano, sage and rosemary.
